Some cool things we've done recently.

First off I've got to say Sinbad the comedian is freakin' hilarious! If you ever get a chance to see him live I say snatch that oppurtunity up! He came to Tuacahn last week and my mom won tickets for it and let Joe and I go. I had no idea that guy is so funny. The silly movies and such he's been in do not do him justice. He is an improv joke master! I don't think he even really prepared much for the show. He basically just made fun of St. George and all the naturalism here and then gave marriage "advice"  for people that were brave enough to shout out answers to his questions. He mostly just made fun of them but it was super funny. I literally laughed for two hours straight. It was so fun.




Next thing, if you get a chance to try, is chinese face reading. It is amazing what someone can tell just from different parts of your face. My mom has been working with a lady that does it and she got us an appointment. Joe was reluctant to go but by the end he was in awe. The lady pretty much read him like a book. She read me the same way. Oh and she takes your b-day and uses the numbers to figure out your personality elements. Like my main one is metal and then my hidden one that comes out is wood and then the one I'm am aspiring to is fire. Of course each has it's own thing. Metal is precious, graceful, but has a hard time letting go. Wood is more into change. And fire is strong, passionate, and open-hearted. It was all super interesting. She told us that people that get plastic surgery tend to mess up who they are. Like women who get smaller noses are basically telling the men they are insecure and to take advantage of them. We found out that the beauty mark means about the same thing. Women think that that sort of thing makes them beautiful when actually it tells the world they have no self worth. We also found out that Toryn's personality elements were basically the same as Joe's just switched a little. So she truly is like Joe but just looks more like me. :) They both have fire as their main personality element. It wasn't very surprising to me. :)




If you guys get a chance to try either of those things, it's totally worth it. It's super cool. I had a good time with both. :)

Goodbye 2010 and all who left us this last year.

Wow, another year gone. I have to say it was a rough one and that I'm glad for a new year to start. I lost quite a few people this last year. My Grandpa Petty died in July. My baby turtle died in august, I think. Angelle's rock loving dog, Zeeb, died in November, I believe, and my stepdad Jason was found dead just the other day. Oh and Mitch, the family cat, dissapeared a little before Zeeb died so he's either dead or got picked up. So yeah, it's been rough. And losing those people only accounts for some of the chaos of last year. There was always plenty of family drama with Jex's insane reltionship with his wife and then the psychotic episodes from Jason...my family could do a reality show with all the crap that goes on in our lives! But now my family is getting into a new house for a new start and Jason's gone so that will make it quite a bit easier. Jex still has issues but he's young and stupid. We hope and pray that one day he'll figure things out. The only thing bad about my mom and the girls moving into a new place is that now I have to find Miss Piggy a new home...I love her and I'm gunna be sad when I have to let her go. It'll be good though cuz I hardly get over to see her anymore and it's not fair of me to expect my mom to take care of her for me and Miss Piggy deserves more attention. So it is time. Big changes for the new year but all will be good I think. :) Good bye 2010, hello 2011!
